Elon Musk is an American entrepreneur, investor and inventor. He’s often depicted as the Tony Stark of our world, because of his crazy ideas that have a great impact on people’s lives. He is currently CEO & CTO of SpaceX and CEO & Chief Product Architect of Tesla Motors. Elon Musk is also known for having led PayPal. At the moment, Musk is also chairman of SolarCity and the principal shareholder.
Born in South Africa, he emigrated Canada and then to the United States to study Physics and Business, Elon Musk is the most controversial and interesting Entrepreneur that you could meet. With a science/business background he has come up with companies such as Tesla that will transform the way we move in the next years. Furthermore, by working on SpaceX, he’s trying to improve the cost and reliability of access to space.
The ability to start a new interesting company is what makes Musk unique. There are entrepreneurs who stick to their first company because it’s doing good or there are others that after selling to Ebay, start a new life. On the other hand Elon Musk has always tried to go forward with ideas that sometimes seem to be much ahead with the years.
His recent crazy proposal was the “Hyperloop”. A new transportation system, which is able to bring you from Los Angeles to San Francisco (560 km) in approximately 30 minutes. As Musk recalls, he was disappointed with the rail system and that’s why he looked for a solution to this problem that was able to stand only on solar energy.
