The importance of branding is what really matters when you are building a mass consumption product. You need to let people love what you are building and believe they are part of something while they are using it. Think about the Apple Case and the “Think Different” campaign; Apple’s users were enticed to think that by using an Apple product, they would have had a different lifestyle and social status. That’s the magic behind branding something and the ability of building a perfect brand is not that common.
What is remarkable behind it is the way people start loving a brand. The thousands of people queuing for the next Apple’s product or the millions of families that are drinking Coca Cola every day make their product unique. The love that consumers have is what really motivates people to build more beautiful products that are going to impact their customers’ lives.

Nowadays it is almost impossible to get into the top 5, but you can get close.
