The more I see new things ant the more I see how interesting and great is entrepreneurship. Clipboard, a simple and remarkable startup, which I discovered thanks to Robert Scoble’s videos, has solved one of the most incredible problems that everyone has always had on the internet.

If you find something interesting while you are on your computer, you usually bookmark the site, thinking that you will come back on that later, but then you forget about it and you tend to delete the bookmark. This generally happens to me and millions of people, who surf the web every single day.

What Clipboard saw, was the possibility to save what you find in Clips, which look like simple and perfect screen shots. When you Clip a page, you can adapt your screen shot as you like and then you can share it on the platform at http://clipboard.com, this saves instantaneously your clip on the server.

Further you can add a brief detail to the Clip or add tags and mentions in order to categorize all your clips under a topic or to address it to a friend. The Clip is not just a screen shot, but it is something more interactive than that.

You can Clip videos and web games and save them on your account, so you can come back later log in to the site and start watching the video from where you left it. With this incredible idea we are not going to lose anything.

Moreover this system is integrated in your browser with a simple plugin, which lets you to Clip whatever you want whenever you want. I have been using it for a week since I installed the plugin in Chrome and I have to say that it is pretty good and you don’t have any problem with it.

This is for sure a startup to watch, because it could turn in a really interesting and useful platform.

However what we have to underline from our usual analytic approach is that Clipboard is more a feature than a product. They are not shipping a product or something that we could use in the future, they are just shipping a feature which can easily integrated in a product (a web browser). In this case it could be Chrome or whatever browser you like to use. For this reason I would probably imagine a possible and good acquisition from one of the companies that are in the browsers market, but that is up to Clipboard and what the company wants to do it with this remarkable feature.
