If I had to choose a company that I really like, I would probably say Betaworks. Why? Because they haven’t got a defined business model, they are flexible and they know what innovation means. At Betaworks they bet on people by investing, acquiring and founding startups. It’s a creative lab of ideas, which seeks to make a difference every day by innovating. They have invested in many of the best tech companies such as Twitter, Airbnb, Tumblr, Kickstarter and Highlight. Furthermore, they are also building some of the most fascinating products on the market such as Dots, Bitly, Instapaper and TweetDeck. John Borthwick, the CEO and Founder of Betaworks, is someone that you should listen to. That’s why we are featuring him in “The Best Lessons From” series, because he has created something that is innovating day by day. John founded the company in 2008 with the aim to have a company of “builders” and we think they have reached their goal.
